Sunday Club is the Childrens teaching group for children whose parents are attending Chaddlewood Community Baptist Church, (CCBC). We have five groups for the different age ranges these are:
These groups meet during the first half of our Sunday morning service and then re-join us after coffee for the second half. Young people in year 7 and above may attend Lasers without their parents being in the service, however younger children may only attend if their parent come to the service.
By attending Sunday club the young people take part in various activities including: crafts, music, discussion and drama. They also get Bible teaching in a fun and relevant format.
For more information please contact Elaine Knight.
As a church we run a youth group for young people, Impact. The group meets on a Wednesday night at Yealmpstone Farm School, where the young people take part in a range of activities including: games, craft, music, quizzes, dancing, football, wild games, singing, puppets, stories, film nights and a bible teaching time. Anyone of the correct age can attend these groups, they do not have to attend on a Sunday morning in-order to come along. However there is sometime a waiting list! We charge a small fee, currently 50p, to cover our running cost. By attending these groups all the young people receive an insight into the Christian Life, and make lots of friends within the groups.
This group is for school years 36 and meets on a Wednesday evening 6.15-7.45pm. Impact also has an annual sleepover in a Dartmoor hostel and takes part in occasional football competitions and walks.
